Best moment at work?
I love everything about my job, but my best though was working alongside Robert Burale for the Reno 2 F launch recently. It was a resounding success.
Most embarrassing moment in your line of duty
(Laughs) I once forgot my script in front of an audience. It took me a minute to recover.
Best moment in life so far?
Now. I am currently living my best life.
Worst lesson life has taught you?
People are not who they say they are, but rather who they show us to be.
Best thing about being a Kenyan?
We have the likes of Eliud Kipchoge and Paul Tergat and many more. These are people whose names resonate all over the world.
They are forces to reckon with in the athletics world, and they are from our motherland.
This country has been a powerhouse in athletics for decades now. We are so good at this that other countries have taken to poaching our local talents.
Worst habit?
I am a serious shoeholic. I buy shoes on impulse, but I will work on it in the near future (laughs).
Lowest moment this year?
My mother was unwell for a period of time. However, I am grateful for God’s grace. It has been sufficient to me and my family.
Best food and why?
Githeri any day, anytime. It just tastes great.
Worst advice you have ever received?
I was told to fit in. Until today, I have struggled with this concept. How do I actually fit in? With what reason?
That by far is the worst thing you can possibly tell someone to do in this world. In a life full of falseness, the best you can be is being authentic.
Best place you have visited?
I have travelled to quite a number of places, but my best destination so far has got to be Watamu.
The place is peaceful and heavenly and Kenya is such a beautiful travel destination with a lot of places to explore.
