Presidential hopeful Jimmy Wanjigi has made claims that politicians are copying his way of doing politics since he is doing the right thing.

In a video shared on his official Facebook account, Wanjigi who had declared that he will battle for the presidential ticket with Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga in the preliminaries said that the revolution he is planning will not be plagiarized.

“If they fight and copy you at the same time, you must be doing something right. Our revolution will not be plagiarized, our revolution is owned and will be driven by the people. The time has come,” he said.

For two months now, Wanjigi has been making rounds in the country as he called for people to support his presidential bid.

He has toured Nyanza counties of Migori, Homabay, Kisumu, Nyamira and Kisii counties, he recently toured the Coastal region and has said he will go on doing so.

According to the politician, he wanted to ensure he takes control of the third liberation of Kenya because most people lacked money which is key in the improvement of the lives of Kenyans.

“It is time you understand that the third liberation is a very serious one because most people are in need of money. You know when you have money in the pocket, you automatically become a king,” Wanjigi noted.

The businessman has in the recent past come under sharp criticism from ODM leaders and a section of supporters who accuse him of disrespecting Odinga.

Odinga has in the last four elections held in 2007, 2013, 2017 ran for the presidential seat on an ODM ticket but lost to former President Mwai Kibaki and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Wanjigi, who does not shy from saying how close he is to Odinga said that he has played his role in shaping the country’s political arena but was not best suited to run the country since he had very few solutions to the problems Kenyans are facing.
