Wamuchomba reaffirms loyalty to Ruto, explains her reasons

Githunguri Member of Parliament  Gathoni Wamuchomba has once again come out expressing her love for President William Ruto while explaining why she chose to follow his path politically.

Taking to her X account on Monday, February 2, 2026, Wamuchomba, while defending President Ruto, listed projects, including Mau Mau roads, which she says Ruto is committed to completing during his campaigns.

“Don’t type back if you don’t have MauMau roads in your constituency! Only those who have them know President William Ruto is committed to completing them during his campaigns,” Wamuchumba said.

Wamuchomba went on explaining how he had Ruto on his toes towards the delivery of select projects in her constituency.

Meanwhile, she firmly stated her loyalty to Ruto while vowing to never fight him due to what she described as “Ruto Delivers.”

“I pledged to press him to do so till he delivers. Now that he has fulfilled, I can’t fight the hand that is giving us. Never! Kila mtu na shida zake! Kila mtu apiganie haki Yao. Ruto Delivers!” Wamuchomba added.

Wamuchomba fully backs Ruto’s re-election

Her remarks come just days after Wamuchomba came out clearly in support of President William Ruto ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Taking to her official X account on Monday, January 26, 2026, Wamuchomba, in a video, confessed her support to Ruto, declaring two terms for Ruto as she also embarks on a three-term journey for Githunguri Constituency.

On her part, the Githunguri Member of Parliament, while maintaining her support for President Ruto, insisted on actualising her 2026 resolution, which she announced to be more developmental with politics aside.

“Yeah i have decided this year i want maendeleo na kazi, siasa tutapiga baadaye,” she added.

Drapped in a United Democratic Alliance scarf, Wamuchomba announced she feels at home.

“Niko nyumbani niko State House kwa UDA,” Wamuchomba firmly stated.
