Declaration of vacancy

The positions were left vacant following the resignation of Newton Karish, who was the Muminji area MCA and later the DP candidate who lost to the current member of parliament Leo Wamuthende in a hotly contested race in the November 27, 2025, by-elections, and Duncan Mbui, who was Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Evurore Ward before giving up his seat to also contest for the same seat, where he emerged a distant third after running on a Chama Cha Kazi party ticket whose party leader is Moses Kuria.
