Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has hinted at the progress the Orange party is making to end the internal wrangles that have rocked the party since the passing of its leader, Raila Odinga.
Taking to his official X account on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Sifuna revealed that he had met a section of senior ODM party members, noting that the talks had just started.

Others in the meeting are Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, nominated Senator Cystal Asige, Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo, Turkana South MP John Namoit, and Nairobi County Assembly Majority Leader Peter Imwatok.

Junet and Oburu’s meeting is also said to have focused on the ODM party’s growth as well as the state of politics in the country.
