Mathare MP Anthony Oluoch moved to Karuri Police station – Etale
Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Director of Communications Philip Etale has confirmed that Mathare Member of Parliament (MP) Antony Oluoch has been moved to Karuri police station in Kiambu county.
In a statement, Etale said the legislator was transferred to Karuri police station earlier today in a move meant to ‘shake off’ his family, friends and colleagues.
“Mathare MP Hon. Antony Oluoch has been driven into Karuri Police Station in Kiambu County. Just a few minutes ago, in a bid to shake off his family, friends and colleagues,” the statement reads in parts.

Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya coalition had earlier announced that Oluoch had been arrested and taken in a vehicle bearing a Tanzanian number plate.
At the time of his alleged arrest, the lawmaker was refuelling his car at the shell station near Nakumatt Junction at Ngong Road.
“Urgent Azimio Update: Mathare MP, Hon Antony Oluoch, has been whisked away in a vehicle with TZ plates while refuelling at the Shell station near Nakumatt Junction on Ngong Road. Several Subaru cars were spotted around the scene,” the statement read in parts.
