MP in prayer mode over Ruto’s BBI shilly-shally

With all eyes on Deputy President William Ruto regarding BBI, a Nominated MP, known for his strong attachment to the initiative, has reportedly engaged two clerics to pray for the second-in-command to lead a No campaign.

The MP was overheard confiding in some friends how he could make money if Ruto decided to take the ‘No’ baton.

Senior inspector faces wrath of junior officers

The indiscipline creeping into the police service reared its ugly head a month ago when some junior officers in the Regular Police arrested one of their seniors, an Assistant Inspector General of Police attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in a drinking den after curfew.

The senior cop was subsequently thrown into dingy cells in one of the Nairobi stations as the local OCPD vowed to teach him a lesson.

It took the intervention of another AIG in the DCI to secure his release. Some hardcore criminals, whom he had once arrested, had a field day when he was forced to sleep on a cold floor.

Lawmakers taste wrath of angry trade unionist

Some three legislators from Western Kenya are said to regret a position they had taken over the BBI after a prominent trade unionist blocked them from accessing his home.

Prior to that, the lawmakers had been frequenting the trade unionist’s residence for handouts.

Their attempts to apologise to the man with deep pockets have borne no fruit.

Jubilee in pain over lazy MP replacement

Some Jubilee honchos are reportedly scratching their heads looking for an MP to replace a legislator from Western region who allegedly went to sleep immediately after he was nominated to a senior position in parliament.

The lawmaker, who has since gone quiet, is one of the beneficiaries of the exercise that was meant to kick allies associated with DP Ruto from parliamentary committees and positions.
