Moses Kuria-led Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) is the latest political party to set the date for its National Delegates Convention (NDC).

Reports reaching People Daily Digital say that CCK will hold its delegates convention on March 15 at the Bomas of Kenya where they will announce its political plans in the coming elections.

The news about the delegates meeting comes hours after Kuria chaired a National Executive Committee (NEC) at the party headquarters at Garden Estate in Nairobi.

The NDC comes at a time when Kuria has kept his cards to his chest, not wanting to reveal which political side he supports in the presidential election.

Though he had declined to reveal which presidential candidate he will support in the coming election, Kuria was supporting DP Ruto’s presidential bid before he flew to Dubai for treatment. He however seemingly changed his mind about working with Ruto.

“I wanted to form a coalition with UDA and UDA was very categorical that they were not for alliances. Now I see posters of UDA, ANC and Ford Kenya. I assume that ANC, Ford Kenya are parties from Uganda. I wait for them to come for parties from Kenya,” Kuria said in an interview with Citizen TV.

The country now hopes to see which political side the Gatundu South MP will join as various political parties in the country have started getting into coalitions agreement ahead of the August polls.

OKA is planning to sign a coalition agreement with Azimio la Umoja on February 25 during ODM’s NDC while DP Ruto’s UDA party will also give the way forward during its convention which has been slated for March 15, the same day Kuria will be having his NDC at Bomas of Kenya.
