Kalonzo wraps up US tour decribes it as meaningful and productive
Azimio la Umoja Coalition leader and Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has wrapped up his United States of America tour, describing it as a meaningful and productive trip.
Taking to his official X account on Thursday, February 12, 2026, Kalonzo explained his engagements with Kenyans in diaspora, concerning governance challenges and economic pressures.
“Over the past several days in the United States, I have engaged in meaningful dialogue with international diplomats, ambassadors, policymakers, and university leaders, Kalonzo said.
Kalonzo explained that the engagements were not ceremonial exchanges, rather substantive conversations about governance, accountability, and the sacred responsibility of serving a nation.

The Azimio coalition leader explained the outcomes of his engagements with Kenyans in the diaspora, noting that they spoke candidly about governance challenges, economic pressures, and the struggle to preserve dignity in public service.
“Our diaspora spoke candidly about governance challenges, economic pressures, and the struggle to preserve dignity in public service. Yet their message was clear: Hope is alive and together we can,” he added.
He noted that they articulated a vision for leadership that listens before it acts, respects citizens, protects their rights, and restores integrity to our institutions, the very ethos enshrined in our Constitution.
On his part, the Wiper Leader revealed that his US tour has sparked his reiforced his conviction in leadership describing that leadership must be grounded in conscience, courage, and accountability.
“These engagements reinforced a conviction I have long held: leadership must be grounded in conscience, courage, and accountability. Policies and projects matter, but the true measure of leadership is respect for human life, dignity, and constitutional rights,” Kalonzo added.
“Whether engaging with leaders or with Kenyans across our borders, one truth emerges: We Are Kenya and Together, We Shall Komboa Kenya. We are shaped not only by our remarkable anthem, but by its promise: “Service be our earnest endeavour.” I am deeply grateful to Deputy Minority Leader and MP for Kathiani Hon. Robert Mbui, Senator Hon. Dan Maanzo, MCA Hon. Helen Ndeti, SKM Diaspora USA Chapter, and our entire delegation. Your dedication made this visit meaningful and productive,” Kalonzo stated.
