Jubilee Party invites aspirants for Ol Kalou by-election, sets May 4 deadline
By Cynthia Lodite, April 30, 2026Jubilee Party has issued an update on the registration of aspirants ahead of the by-election for the Olkalou Constituency Member of the National Assembly seat in Nyandarua County.
In a notice dated Monday, April 27, 2026, the Party extended an invitation to all persons interested to vie in the by-elections through the party.
Worth noting, the by-election follows the death of the Member of Parliament for Ol Kalou constituency, the late David Njuguna Kiaraho, who was a member of Jubilee Party.
“FOLLOWING the death of the Member of Parliament for Ol Kalou constituency, Hon. David Njuguna Kiaraho, who was a member of our party and the declaration of the by-election date, 16th July 2026, the party would like to state the following,” the Party said.
According to the Party, all persons interested to vie in the upcoming by-elections are urged to register through the Jubilee Party portal, www.aspirants.jubileeparty.ke, on or before the end of Monday, 4th May 2026.
“THAT we hereby invite all persons interested to vie in the by-elections through the party to register through our portal, www.aspirants.jubileeparty.ke, on or before the end of day, Monday 4th May 2026,” Jubilee said.
Meanwhile, all interested persons must fulfil all the requirements contained in the application forms and pay a non-refundable fee.

According to the Party, interested male aspirants will be expected to pay Ksh200,000, while Female aspirants will be required to pay half of their male counterparts, which is Ksh100,000.
In addition, interested youth aspirants will be required to pay at least Ksh50,000, with a waived fee for Persons with Disability.

At the same time, the Party has announced that the Elections board will conduct nominations through the approved method on the 9th May 2026 in Ol Kalou constituency.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) recently announced that a by-election for the Olkalou Constituency Member of the National Assembly seat in Nyandarua County will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
In a notice issued to the public on Sunday, April 26, 2026, the electoral body confirmed that preparations are underway to ensure a smooth and credible exercise, with voters expected to head to the polls to elect their new representative in the National Assembly.
“Notice of By-Election. By-Election for Member of National Assembly for Olkalou Constituency in Nyandarua County will be held on Thursday, 16th July, 2026,” IEBC stated.
The by-election comes following the death of Ol Kalou MP David Kiaraho, who was a member of Jubilee. He died on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
