Jubilee party announces NDC date
Jubilee Party is set to hold its National Delegates Convention (NDC) on February 25 and 26 as it seeks to put its house in order ahead of August 9 general election.
In a statement, the party Secretary General Raphael Tuju said the NDC will review, formulate and approve the party policies.
“The agenda of the NDC will be to amend, review and ratify proposed changes to Jubilee Party constitution to comply with the current electoral laws,” Tuju said.
The NDC will also approve the new seal, symbol and flag of the party.
“Take note that the NDC will be held with strict compliance of the Covid-19 guidelines by the Ministry of Health,” Tuju added.
The party was set to hold its NDC on November 30, 2021, before it was postponed after colliding with the State of the Nation address by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The party is set to endorse ODM leader Raila Odinga as their preferred candidate for the 2022 presidential election.
