National Assembly majority leader Kimani Ichung’wah has noted the massive strides towards the full implementation of the 10-point agenda and the NADCO report by the Committee on Implementation of the 10-Point Agenda and the NADCO report (COIN-10).

In a statement on Thursday, December 4, 2025, the Kikuyu MP hailed the work done by the Agnes Zani-led commission as he received the initial report from the committee.

“I received the Committee’s first report along with a comprehensive briefing on the progress and gains made in tracking the implementation of both frameworks,” his statement said.

“It was impressive to note the milestones already achieved, and we committed to a joint effort to amplify the Committee’s work and the positive strides made in delivering the 10-Point Agenda,” he added.

Bipartisan support

The UDA MP reiterated the bipartisan commitment to achieve full implementation of the two frameworks, which form the foundation of the engagement with the ODM party.

“We acknowledge that both the 10-Point Agenda and the NADCO Report address critical issues central to the development and progress of our nation,” he added.

His remarks come after the COIN-10 committee moved to reassure the country that it is on track with its mandate, promising to complete its public engagement phase within the planned timelines.

In a statement issued after its three-day stock-taking retreat, the committee vowed to beat its deadlines and deliver the report.

“The Committee on Implementation of the Ten-Point Agenda and the Nadco Report (COIN-10) has assured Kenyans that it will finalise public engagement to address the issues raised within the scheduled time,” the statement reads.

It also acknowledged the leadership transition within ODM following Raila Odinga’s passing, affirming that it will work closely with Oburu Oginga, who has now taken up the role of ODM party leader and co-principal in the bipartisan process.

COIN-10 also extended its condolences to the Odinga family following the deaths of Raila Odinga and his sister Beryl Odinga, acknowledging the emotional weight surrounding the transition period.
