Gideon Moi appoints 27-year-old as KANU’s director of communications
KANU party leader Gideon Moi has appointed 27-year-old Manasse Nyainda as the party’s director of communications.
In a statement, Moi termed Nyainda as a “versatile journalist and public relations practitioner with expertise in strategic communication, mainstream and digital media operations.”
“I have today appointed Mr Manasse Nyainda as the Director of Communications – KANU. The 27-year-old is a versatile journalist and public relations practitioner with expertise in strategic communication, mainstream and digital media operations,” Moi said.
Nyainda’s task in KANU
Mr Nyainda has been tasked with offering technical communication support and advisory to the party and the National Chairman.
He will spearhead effective communication of policies, programs, and activities aimed at enhancing their public profiles.
“I congratulate him on this well-deserved appointment,” Moi stated.
Nyainda will take over from Joseph Towett who has been appointed to the office of Secretary for Information, Communication and Media Relations in the Party’s Policy Advisory Council.
