The deadline for submission has been set for September 8, 2025, either physically at the party offices or via the official party email. Late submissions will not be considered.

The party emphasised that no application fees will be charged at the submission stage.

“No application fee is payable at the time of submission. Only candidates who are successful at the vetting stage will be required to pay the prescribed nomination fee before proceeding to the next stage of the process,” the party stated.

The DCP, which has been positioning itself as a grassroots-driven movement since Gachagua’s political fallout with President William Ruto last year, is expected to use these by-elections to test its popularity ahead of the 2027 General Election.
