Gachagua hosts pastors at his Wamunyoro home

Former deputy president Rigathi Gachugua has disclosed that he convened a meeting with pastors and church ministers from different denominations at his rural home Wamunyoro in Nyeri County.
In a statement shared on his official social media accounts on Thursday evening, January 30, 2025, Gachagua said that the pastors paid him and courtesy call adding that he benefited from their spiritual insights.
The second deputy president noted that in their meeting they also discussed the current issues and what Kenyans are saying about the direction the country should take.
Gachagua, who has been engaging and hosting various political and non-political leaders at his Wamunyoro home after impeachment said that he will continue to consult Kenyans.

“This afternoon I was blessed to receive a team of Pastors and Church Ministers from different denominations, who called on me at the Wamunyoro Residence, to pray for me and my family.
“I especially benefited from their spiritual insights on various issues happening around us, as well as their input on what the ground is saying as regards to the direction we should take as a Nation. The consultations continue,” Gachagua disclosed.
Gachagua’s engaging Kenyans
On Thursday, January 23, 2025, Gachagua engaged with Kenyans on a TikTok Live session hosted by diaspora-based digital creator Kuira Wa Kabiru.
During the live session, Gachagua addressed various topics, including the political situation in the Mount Kenya region, the youth-led (Gen Z) protests, and recent comments made by close allies of President William Ruto about him.
He further assured Kenyans of his commitment to provide candid responses to their concerns, sharing his insights on the issues affecting the nation.
“In a very truthful manner, I’ll give you a candid response of what is my insight and my thinking and again discuss the state of our nation, where we are as a country, what is going on in our country and what we think you people in the diaspora can do better to improve the lives of our people,” Gachagua said.
