Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua has taken a swipe at Deputy President William Ruto accusing him of being a corrupt leader who cannot take care of the country’s resources.

Speaking in Lokichogio where the Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya brigade led by their presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga took their campaigns, Karua said that DP Ruto cannot be trusted with the leadership of the country.

She said that the DP can only give sweet promises to Kenyans so that he ascends to power but once he is elected, he will squander public resources.

“Kuna wengine watakuahidi lakini wewe mfugaji unaelewa kuwa fisi hawezi chunga mbuzi wako. Mfisadi ni kama fisi ukimwachia raslimali ya Kenya atapora yote,” Martha said.

The former Justice minister said that it is only Raila who can take care of the country’s resources, unlike his competitors.

“Ukiulizwa mbona tunamwita baba? Waambie tunamwita hivyo sababu yeye ni baba wa kulete usalama ndipo msisumbuliwe na majirani namna ninavyoskia wanasumbua kwa sasa. Ni baba wa kupiga njaa marufuku, kupigania haki ya kila mkenya na wakuchunga raslimali yetu. Baba atachunga mali yetu na utapata maji, dawa hospitali,” the Narc Kenya leader said.
