DP Ruto’s UDA picks date for its NDC
United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has announced that it will hold its National Delegates Convention (DNC) on March 15.
In a public notice, the Deputy President William Ruto-led party said that it will hold its convention at Kasarani Indoor Arena where they will officially unveil their presidential candidate.
UDA Secretary General Veronica Maina said that they will also use the NDC to review and approve some of the party’s policies.
“According to Article 6.2 (iv), Article 31.1 (i) and Article 31.2 of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Constitution, the UDA National Delegates Convention shall be held on Tuesday, 15th March 2022 at the Kasarani Indoor Arena from 10 am,” Maina said in the statement.
“The agenda of the NDC shall be: to review and approve policies of the party, nomination of the Presidential candidate and to consider and approve any other party matters,” the notice added.
