Kenya is expected to tap more investors to support her industrial park ambition plan during the three-day Africa Investment Forum (AIF) 2023 Market Days to be held in Morocco next month.

In a statement released by the African Development Bank (AfDB) communication department, the event will be held on November 8 to 10 in Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco under the theme, ‘Unlocking Africa’s Value Chains.

The event will bring together investors, transaction sponsors, heads of government and development finance institutions to advance investment-ready deals toward market close.

The market days event will feature transactions in a range of sectors where Africa has a comparative advantage.

For example, the agriculture sector with a focus on Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAIPZ), renewable energy, to include such initiatives as Desert to Power; and manufacturing and notably the production of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles.

Kenya is expected to benefit from the forum following its ambitious plan to establish Aggregations centres and Industrial Parks in the 47 Counties.

President William Ruto in a past event stated that the industrial parks will help in full exploitation of resources in the counties.
