Ruto who was on a vote-hunt tour in Limuru, Kiambu County said Odinga has started showing signs of rejection of election results with less than a month to the polls.
He said that Raila’s recent attacks on Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) clearly show that Odinga is not ready to withhold his fifth defeat in his quest to become president.
“If he dares to cause trouble when we defeat him, we will put him on a wheelbarrow and hurriedly rush him to Bondo,” he said.
Ruto promises to lower cost of living
The Kenya Kwanza presidential flagbearer maintained that unlike in the other camp, Kenya Kwanza has a clear plan of rescuing Kenya from its current economic troubles that have seen food prices go out of the roof and millions of citizens become jobless.
The presidential hopeful is on a three-day tour in President Uhuru Kenyatta‘s home county and will be seeking to galvanize his support in a region where his closest rival has also made inroads.
During the tour, Ruto has been accompanied by among others his deputy running mate Rigathi Gachagua, Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi, Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi alongside local politicians allied to his Kenya Kwanza coalition.
