Former governor Issa Timamy poised to make comeback in Lamu – Infotrak poll

Former Lamu governor Issa Timamy is set to make a comeback, new InfoTrak survey released on Thursday, July 21, revealed.

The survey showed Timamy would clinch the seat by 33 per cent.

Timamy is vying for the seat on Amani National Congress (ANC) party ticket.

The current county governor Twaha Fahim is enjoying 30 per cent popularity.

Others in the governor’s race

Twaha is seeking to retain his seat on Jubilee Party ticket.

Others in the race include Omar Umra (11%), and Mugo Eric Kinyanjui (2%).
