Ndege’s hope
FKF general secretary Harold Ndege is confident that Kimanzi, a Premier League winner with Mathare United, will succeed in his new position.
“We are confident that Mr. Kimanzi’s leadership and expertise will play a pivotal role in advancing our development agenda and shaping the future of Kenyan football,” Ndege said as quoted by the FKF website.
Ndege and Kimanzi have been appointed by the new FKF leadership that came into the office following the 2024 elections that saw Hussein Mohammed elected as the president with McDonald Mariga serving as the vice president.
The Hussein-Mariga leadership has also appointed former Bafana Bafana striker Benni McCarthy as the new head coach for Harambee Stars.
