Scheduled to unfold over four Saturdays in May 2024, the tournament will see matches rotating between Nairobi, Nakuru, and Kakamega.

The competition will showcase four men’s teams—Buffaloes, Cheetahs, Lions, and Rhinos—alongside two women’s teams.

In the men’s division, teams will engage in a round-robin format across the first three match days, hosted at various venues. The top two teams from this phase will advance to the final showdown.

Each franchise boasts a lineup of formidable teams: the Buffaloes, based in Kakamega, will feature Kabras Sugar, Kisumu, Catholic Monks, Masinde Muliro, and Western Bulls.

Meanwhile, the Nakuru-based Cheetahs will comprise Menengai Oilers, Nakuru, Homeboyz, Impala, Kabarak University, and the University of Eldoret.

Rugby Super Series Lions

The Lions franchise will include KCB, Kenyatta University Blak Blad, Mwamba, JKUAT Cougars, South Coast Pirates, and USIU Maritals.
