Kenya Police striker Tito Okello continues to make waves in the FKF Premier League, notching up his tally to 10 goals after 25 rounds of intense competition.

The former Gor Mahia forward’s stellar form has propelled him to within striking distance of Benson Omalla, who leads the league’s scoring charts by just one goal.

Okello’s impact for the law enforcers has been evident, with Police securing six wins in their last 12 league matches.

His goal-scoring prowess has been pivotal, contributing to five of those victories, including a recent brace against FC Talanta over the weekend, bringing his total to eight goals since coach Salim Babu took charge.

Meanwhile, Omalla maintains his lead with 11 goals, his last strike coming in a match against Posta Rangers in March.

Francis Kahiro of Bandari and Eric Kapaito of Tusker closely trail with nine and eight goals respectively.

In other league developments, Nairobi City Stars’ Vincent Owino and Gor Mahia’s Austine Odhiambo have notched seven goals each, adding to the competitive edge of the FKF PL.

As the league progresses, all eyes turn to Gor Mahia’s upcoming fixture against Nzoia Sugar, with the champions eager to reclaim momentum after their recent draw with Homeboyz.

With Nzoia languishing at the bottom of the table, Gor Mahia sees this as a prime opportunity to widen the gap at the top and solidify their title aspirations.
