FKF PL top scorers: Omalla stays top as Kapaito closes in
Benson Omalla of Gor Mahia continues to lead the scoring charts in the FKF Premier League, notching his 11th goal of the season over the weekend.
Omalla found the back of the net in the first minute of Gor Mahia’s 4-0 victory over Posta Rangers, marking his second consecutive match with a goal after also scoring against Nairobi City Stars. This goal ended his seven-match scoring drought.

Francis Kahiro of Bandari FC has moved up to nine goals, most of which were scored during his time with KCB Football Club.
Eric Kapaito has climbed to eight goals after scoring twice in Tusker FC’s win against Muhoroni. Kapaito initially struggled in the league but has since found remarkable form, contributing significantly to Tusker’s success.
Tito Okello of Police FC and Kapaito are tied with eight goals each in this campaign.
Austine Odhiambo’s two goals over the weekend propelled him to seven goals, while Vincent Owino of Nairobi City Stars also remains at seven goals.
Jacob Onyango of Sofapaka, Boniface Muchiri of Ulinzi Stars, and Moses Shummah of Kakamega Homeboyz have each scored six goals.

Gor Mahia’s 4-0 win over Posta Rangers saw them extend their lead at the top of the table by 10 points. Omalla opened the scoring in the second minute, followed by Sylvester Owino’s goal. Lawrence Juma and Austine Odhiambo sealed the victory with two late goals.
The convincing win was a welcome relief for head coach Johnathan McKinstry and his team after their recent elimination from the FKF Cup.
Despite Tusker’s win against Muhoroni, Gor Mahia remain comfortably ahead in the title race, showcasing their determination to defend their league crown.
