On the first day of the Safari 7s, Kenya 7s delivered an impeccable performance, securing victories against rivals Uganda, Tropic 7s, and South Africa at RFUEA Ground on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

In their match against Tropic 7s, Shujaa set the tone with converted tries from John Okoth and Vincent Onyala. Despite Tropic 7s responding with an unconverted try, Shujaa maintained dominance, sealing a 33-5 win with additional tries from Nygel Amaitsa and Brian Mutugi.

Shujaa continued their impressive form against Uganda, claiming a 17-5 victory. Nygel Amaitsa’s try gave Kenya a 5-0 lead, which extended to 10-0 after an impressive buildup involving Onyala and Samuel Asati. Despite missing conversions, Shujaa sealed the win with John Okoth’s try in the second half.
