Ulinzi, Kariobangi Sharks fire blanks in KPL midweek clash
By Joel Masibo, September 24, 2025Ulizi Stars and Kariobangi Sharks played to a barren draw in the midweek clash of the ongoing 2025/2026 Kenyan Premier League season at the Ulinzi Sports Complex on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
The particular meeting marked the match day two of the new campaign after the new season commenced on Friday, September 19, 2025, with Ulinzi Stars recording a 1-0 win over Muranga SEAL in their opener, while Kariobangi Sharks played to another 0-0 stalemate against Bandari FC on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Kasarani Annex.
Led by Harambee Stars winger Boniface Muchiri, Ulinzi were keen on breaking the deadlock and stretching their winning streak into the new season, but Sharks reamined deiscplined at the back, recording their second consecutive clean sheet in the league.
