Tusker, Sharks dominate FKF PL round 24 Dream Team

Tusker FC and Kariobangi Sharks have dominated the FKF Premier League round 24 Team of the Week after the weekend matches.

Julius Masaba, who scored a brace for Kariobangi Sharks in their win over Posta Rangers, leads the trio from the Sharks included in the squad.

John Makwata, who also found the back of the net in the same match, joins Masaba. Geoffrey Ochieng completes the Sharks representation in the Dream Team.

From Tusker FC, goalkeeper Brian Opondo, defender Collins Odhiambo, and midfielder Chrisphine Erambo have been selected. The three played a vital role in Tusker’s victory over AFC Leopards.

Other notable inclusions in the team are Bandari FC’s Andrew Wanjala and Fidel Origa, Kakamega Homeboyz’s Brian Eshihanda, Muranga Seal’s Eric Balecho, and KCB FC’s Derrick Otanga, who scored a brace against Shabana FC.

Tusker FC win

During the weekend matches, AFC Leopards suffered a 1-0 defeat against Tusker FC, while Kakamega Homeboyz secured a 2-0 victory over Ulinzi Stars.

The winning goal for Homeboyz came just before halftime through Hillary Otieno, and Brian Chala doubled their lead in the 61st minute.

Meanwhile, Kariobangi Sharks recorded an impressive 5-1 win over Posta Rangers, dealing a blow to Rangers’ title aspirations. The defeat has put Rangers under pressure in the title race, especially after their previous loss to Gor Mahia.

In another match, Gor Mahia FC faced a defeat against Bandari in Mombasa, adding to the weekend’s drama in the FKF Premier League.
