St Mirren and Jonah Ayunga build up for crucial final Cup tie in Scotland

St Mirren FC, home to Harambee Stars ace Jonah Ayunga, is angling up for a crucial week as they approach the Premier Sports Cup final against Celtic on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

Steve Robinson’s side looks to make history for the side, which has had no major cup win since 1987.

On Saturday, December 6, 2025, Saints warmed up for the Celtic game with a win over Dundee, with Ayunga also starting the tie.

The burly attacker was the subject of his coach’s praises after his goal against Aberdeen, as Robinson extolled his great physicality and combative nature.

“It was a great display from Jonah. He showed tremendous physicality and awareness for the goal, and his ability to go past defenders remains important to us.
