Sofapaka FC edge Homeboyz to move 4 points above relegation zone

Sofapaka FC secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Kakamega Homeboyz at Machakos Stadium, propelling them four points clear of the relegation zone in the FKF Premier League.

With mixed results in their last five league matches, Sofapaka went into the game with three losses and two wins, accumulating 17 points before the match.

Facing Kakamega Homeboyz, who struggled in their previous five matches with only one win, Sofapaka sought to return to winning ways.

The first half remained goalless, with both teams heading into the break tied at 0-0.

In the 85th minute, Darius Msagha broke the deadlock, scoring the decisive goal that earned Sofapaka the three points.

Sofapaka introduced several new signings, and the win elevated them to 20 points in 19 matches, securing the 13th position on the league table.

Kakamega Homeboyz continued to struggle in front of goal, extending their goalless streak to five matches.
