Shabana ranked as most discipline side in FKF PL
Shabana FC emerge as the most disciplined side in the FKF Premier League (FKF PL) after 24 rounds of the 2023/24 season.
The team has only conceded 36 yellow cards and two straight red cards throughout the campaign, placing them at the top of the fairplay table. Remarkably, they have not received two yellow cards directed to a single player in any single match this season.
Bandari trailing Shabana
Bandari FC follow closely as the second most disciplined side in the league with 38 points. The coastal-based team has conceded 36 yellow cards and two yellows leading to red cards.
FKF Premier League champions, Gor Mahia, occupy the third spot on the fair play log with 38 points, having conceded 38 yellow cards. Impressively, they have not received a single red card this season.
Ulinzi Stars and Bidco United complete the top five with 39 points each. On the other end of the spectrum, Muhoroni Youth and AFC Leopards are tied at the bottom with 50 points.
Murang’a Seal sit at 16th place with 53 points, while Posta Rangers follow closely at 17th with 55 points, having received five red cards this season.
Nairobi City Stars are labelled as the most undisciplined side, having conceded 54 yellow cards and three red cards.
With the league breaking to allow players to join the National Team camp for international assignments, head coach Engin Firat has introduced seven new faces to the Harambee Stars squad.

Although their final inclusion is subject to change before the March 18–24 Four-Nations tournament in Malawi, these new additions pave the way for potential debuts on the national senior side.
Among the new faces is Murang’a Seal’s goalkeeper, Bonphas Munyasa, recognized for his outstanding performance for the Premier League debutants.
Shabana miss out
Alphonse Omija, based in Oman, is also included in the squad, facing a tough competition for his debut among high-profile defenders.
AFC Leopards’ Kaycie Odhiambo, a standout player in the league’s second round, joins the squad, contending with experienced midfielders for his place.
Gor Mahia’s new signing, Shariff Musa, and Scotland-based John Ayunga receive their debut call-ups, adding to the squad’s depth.
Chrispine Erwambo of Tusker and Bandari’s David Sakwa are also introduced to Firat’s team. Despite being recent signings, both players have shown promising performances, earning their place in the national side.
