The Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) has declared the 2021/22 FKF Premier league season null and void.

The latest development means that Tusker FC who successfully defended the league title will be stripped off their 13th title.

In a ruling delivered by Justice John Ohaga on Tuesday, the SDT also ruled that the National Super League (NSL) is also null and void.

In a day that witnessed drama, the existing FKF Transition Committee that was appointed in May has been declared unconstitutional.

The SDT said that the FKF Transition Committee ignored the existing FKF bodies in forming and running the leagues.

The case against the FKF Transition was filed in May by Migori Youth FC, Gusii FC, Dandora Love FC, Zoo FC, Kamungei United FC, Coastal Heroes FC, Mwatate United FC, Kisumu Allstars FC and journalist Francis Ngira Okello.

The ruling has affected all top tiers with no promotion or relegation expected from the teams that took part in the leagues.
