Kariobangi Sharks, on the other hand, were in third place, with two wins and two draws in their four matches.

Patrick Otieno, facing his former team, struck early with a goal just seven minutes into the game. The goal came after centre-back Kennedy Owino delivered a precise long pass to set up Otieno’s strike.

In a show of respect to his former club, Otieno refrained from celebrating his goal.

Posta Rangers managed to maintain their slender lead and secured a second consecutive 1-0 victory of the season.
