Football Kenya Federation Premier League defending champions, Police FC, have confirmed the appointment of Dusan Stojanovic as the club’s new head coach.

Stojanovic takes charge at the Police side days after the outfit announced the departure of Etinne Ndayiragije as the team’s head coach.

”Kenya Police FC wishes to announce to the general public that, effective 29th October 2025, it has mutually parted ways with the Head Coach, Mr Ettiene Ndayaragije. During his tenure, Mr Ndayaragije diligently steered the club to bag its maiden league trophy. Owing to his desire to individually advance his career and experience, Mr Ettiene requested the club to allow him to pursue greener pastures and newer challenges,” part of the Police statement said.

The club added that it acceded to the request.

”Mr Ettiene has a special place in Kenya Police FC history. The club’s Board of Directors and the Executive take this opportunity to wish him the best of luck as he pursues bigger challenges within newer coaching frontiers,” it added.

Ndayiragije left the Law Enforcers after the club’s journey in the CAF Champions League hit a snag in their debut, going down 4-1 to Sudanese giants Al Hilal in the final preliminary phase.

However, Police FC management has moved swiftly to confirm the Serbian in place of Ndayiragije.

Dusan pledged to put in effort and help the team achieve greatness in all competitions. “We can promise that we will always work hard and we will never give up, but always fight for what is our target and goal. Thank you for coming here, and I hope we will be in good relations,” the former Sports Club (SC) Villa of Ugandan Premier League head coach said.

He added that he was convinced by the project at Police FC. “It was the project (what convinced me)…where we are now and where we want to be is very clear, and that is to be at the top of the continent,” Dusan noted. The new sheriff at Police FC boasts a fair career; he has previously handled African giants Zamalek of Egypt in an assistant coach capacity.
