Pandit crowned overall winner at NCBA Golf Series Windsor leg
The ongoing 2023 NCBA Golf Series came to a thrilling conclusion on Saturday, at the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club with over 150 golfers braving the cold weather to compete for slots to play at the Series’ Grand Finale later this year.
In a highly competitive field, Abhishek Pandit emerged as the overall gross winner with an impressive score of 79 gross, earning a slot in the Grand Finale. Avnish Bhandari took home the Men’s Category title with 80 gross points on count back, with Gary Zeller as the Men’s category runner-up, also with 80 gross points.
Phillus Kimbo emerged as the Women’s winner with 85 gross, with Rahab Karoki as the Women’s category runner-up with 99 gross. Meanwhile, Nathan Kania was the Juniors category winner with 104 gross.
Longest drive
At the same time, in the Nines challenge, Sam Koda emerged as the star in the first nine with 41 gross, while Alishan Merali was the back nine winner with 40 gross.
Meanwhile, Akshay Chandaria emerged as the Men’s longest drive challenge winner while Rahab Karoki was the Women’s longest drive challenge winner.
At the same time, Aly Popat was the Nearest to the pin challenge winner, while Arnold Kipkoti won the Staff category with 95 gross.

NCBA Golf Series is fully sponsored by NCBA Bank and features 16 senior’s qualifier events held across the East African region and a juniors tournament that will be held at Nyali Golf Club.
Following the Windsor event, the series will resume on 27th May 2023 at the Thika Sports Club for the fifth leg.
