Nyahururu’s Moses Koskei clinches Kenya Seed Classic Golf title

Nyahururu based golfer Moses Koskei emerged the winner in the Kenya Seed Classic Golf tournament held at Kitale Golf Club. An eighteen-hole birdie in the play-off made Koskei clinch the title played over the weekend.  Koskei stunned the Western Kenya Ladies Golf Union (KLGU) representative Ruth Kae, who failed to use home ground advantage. Koskei and Kae had tied on 144 net in the two-day tournament that teed off on Saturday to Sunday and the winner was to be determined in the play-offs on holes 10, 17th and 18th.

With Kae playing handicap 22 Kae and Koskei handicap 13 both bogeyed in the 10th hole where the former lady captain lost 1-up against Koskei when he fired a par.
