In an interview with the club’s official portal, Omuhaya highlighted the importance of closely monitoring statistics and stated that the figures provide a comprehensive understanding of the team’s performance.

“You can never argue with stats. The figures tell it all. After every few games, we sit down with the management to look at the captured stats during our league games. They are detailed and very revealing,” Omuhaya said.

According to Omuhaya, the coaching staff uses these statistics to make informed decisions about player selection, especially in determining the right personnel for upcoming matches.

“In my goalkeeping department, I always have a key look at claims, runouts, throw-outs, long and short goal kicks, as well as saves from situations which informs me on who is the right personnel for an upcoming game,” he pointed out.

Omuhaya went on to highlight that the broader technical bench evaluates parameters related to other departments, allowing them to strategically utilize players during games.

“Overall as the technical bench, we look at parameters that relate to other departments in the same manner, which guides us on how to utilize players in games. It has worked well for the team.” Omuhaya concluded.
