Morocco clinched a dramatic 3-2 victory over Madagascar in the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) final at Nairobi’s Kasarani Stadium, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, securing a historic third title for the Atlas Lions.

The match was a pulsating affair from the first whistle. Madagascar, playing in their first-ever CHAN final, stunned fans when Félicité Mantasoa fired the Barea ahead early in the game. The opening goal silenced the stadium, as the island nation showed no fear against the two-time champions.
