In his statement released on Sunday, August 10, 2025, Kindiki described the win as a memorable achievement that will be remembered for a long time, urging the players to remain focused as they head to the quarter finals and noting that the result proved anything is possible.

“What Harambee Stars has done today will remain etched in our memories for a long time to come. “Congratulations, stay focused; clearly anything is possible.” Kindiki stated.

“What a moment to be proud of the Harambee Stars! Congratulations, our team! Once again, you have made our great nation proud! Your win is a win for Kenya. Keep winning! Keep it, Stars! God Bless Kenya!” Gachagua stated.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka termed the win historic, applauding the team for overcoming one of the most successful sides in the CHAN tournament. He recognised every player, both on the pitch and on the bench, for contributing to the triumph.
