Kenyan midfielder joins UAE club
By Joel Sang, September 13, 2023Kenyan midfielder Ryan Ogam has completed a move to the Elite Falcons of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Ogam’s National Super League side, Rainbow FC, confirmed the move and wished the midfielder well.
The midfielder was a key figure in the Rainbow setup, as he played a pivotal role during their chase for promotion from Division One to the National Super League.
He leaves the Kenyan side before the 2023/24 campaign starts, and his club hopes that he will have a successful stint with the Elite Falcons.
Confirmation of Ogam’s move
“Exciting news, everyone! Our very own Ryan Wesley Ogam is taking his talent to new heights as he joins Elite Falcons FC in Dubai, UAE!
“Ryan has left an indelible mark on our club. His dedication, team spirit, and remarkable talent made him a fan favorite and will forever be a part of our club’s history.
“As he spreads his wings and heads to the UAE, we’re certain that he will continue to elevate and make us all proud. Join us in congratulating Rayan on his career move,” Rainbow FC announced.

Ogam follows footsteps
Ogam is the third Kenyan footballer to join Elite Falcons, after Rooney Onyango and Faiz Ouma.
Onyango was in the Middle East country for six months before he returned in June and joined the Football Kenya Federation Premier League‘s defending champions, Gor Mahia.
Ouma, a former Rainbow FC defender who featured for the lower league club last season, did not return to the country but headed to the United Kingdom for trials.
