Kenya Police sign South Sudanese duo

FKF Premier League club Kenya Police have continued to bolster their squad with the addition of two South Sudanese players.

The team has signed Tito Okello, a forward who previously played for Gor Mahia and has experience with clubs like Iranian club Paykan FC, Vipers, Benfica Macau, SC Villa, Bul FC, African Lyon, Mbeya City, and KCCA FC.

Okello has also represented the South Sudan national football team and has signed a one-year deal with the Police

Kenya Police have welcomed Rashid Toha, a central defender, who has recently been with Arua Hill FC for two seasons and has previously played for Vipers SC and Onduparaka FC in the Uganda Premier League. Toha has signed a two-year contract with the club.

“Done Deal. South Sudanese internationals, Rashid Toha, a central defender and striker, Tito Okello have officially signed two and one-year contracts with the team, respectively,” the Police announced.

“The two are looking forward to a successful season. Welcome Aboard,” the statement added.

The team is eager to strengthen its squad for the upcoming season, having also made significant midfield signings, including Tyson Otien and Harambee Stars midfielder Kenneth Muguna.

Furthermore, they have enhanced their technical staff with the addition of Salim Babu as an assistant coach and Nowel Mandi as a physiotherapist, further improving the team’s expertise.

In the previous FKF Premier League season, Kenya Police FC demonstrated their prowess, finishing third in the league standings, just six points behind the champions, Gor Mahia.

They showcased their attacking capabilities with 55 goals scored while maintaining a solid defence, conceding the fewest goals, just 22. The season began with a goalless draw against Kariobangi Sharks.
