Okoth joins Police FC after parting ways with Homeboyz, who finished second in the FKF Premier League this season. Okoth began his football career at Nyadhi Primary School, where he captained the squad to the then-coveted regional level in 2006.

His talent saw him play for St. Patrick’s School, Segere in Siaya, Mukumu Boys, and Bujumba Boys High School before transferring to Ambira High School where he sat for his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) in 2013. In 2014, he began his club career with Bondo United in the Division One.

The attacker joined Kakamega Homeboyz in 2015 and stayed for two seasons before leaving in 2017. He then left Homeboyz in 2017 and joined Nzoia Sugar before being re-signed by the latter in 2019.

2021/22 saw the forward end the season as the club’s top scorer and provided the most assists for Homeboyz.

Omotto ends 15-year stay

Omoto, on his part, concluded his 15-year connection with the Sharks earlier this month. The Mathare United Youth Association academy product joined Sharks in 2005 and played for the club until 2013 when he departed to join AFC Leopards. In 2014 he moved to coastal-based side Bandari FC. He rejoined the Sharks in 2015 and helped them gain promotion to the top league in 2016.

Badi who joins from KCB FC has previously played for Thika United and the National Team Harambee Stars as a right back.
