Set for Saturday, July 12, 2025, the tournament is expected to draw over 200 golfers from Nakuru and beyond, with top teams eyeing a place in the highly anticipated grand finale on December 5.
As part of the ongoing 15-leg tour, the Nakuru edition marks another milestone in KCB’s mission to promote golf and build strong community ties through sport.
The top two teams from this weekend’s action will automatically qualify for the finale, joining elite groups from Nairobi, Mombasa, Kiambu, Nyanza, Nanyuki, Kericho, Nandi, Uganda, and Burundi.
Speaking ahead of the tournament, Nakuru Golf Club Captain Eng. Michael Mululu said the course was in excellent shape and ready to challenge players.
“It is such an honour to host the KCB East Africa Golf Tour for the third year in a row. We expect a huge turnout this Saturday, and I would like to tell the players that the course is in the absolute best condition. The greens are slow, and the fairways are wide enough. However, the course can be challenging.”
