Both teams are gearing up for continental competitions, as they are set to feature in the CAF Confederations Cup.

KCCA FC’s newly appointed coach, Sergio Traguil, expressed his belief that playing against Kakamega Homeboyz, who have triumphed in Kenya, will provide a proper test for his team ahead of the new season.
