Harambee Stars are scheduled to kick off their first match in the Four Nations Tournament against Pakistan at 2:00 pm East African Time, as confirmed by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF).

Details regarding the broadcast of the match are yet to be disclosed by the Federation. This match will be Kenya’s second international game since the FIFA ban was lifted.

The encounter will take place at the Cote d’Or National Sports Complex.

“The Cote D’Or National Sports Complex will be host to the first encounter, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 14, at 2 pm EAT,” FKF announced.

The delay in Kenya’s travel plans caused them to miss the tournament’s opener against Djibouti. The Football Kenya Federation President, Nick Mwendwa, attributed the delay to rescheduled travel arrangements by Kenya Airways.

Despite the setback, the Harambee Stars team arrived in Mauritius on Monday, June 12, fully prepared for the upcoming friendly matches.

They wasted no time and immediately conducted their first training session upon arrival, followed by a final session on Tuesday.

These matches hold great significance for Harambee Stars as they serve as crucial preparation for their upcoming CAF and FIFA assignments scheduled for November.

The team aims to use these friendly matches as valuable opportunities to refine their strategies and enhance their performance on the international stage.
