Harambee Stars to face Guinea and Senegal in adjusted schedule
By Joel Masibo, November 8, 2025Kenya’s national men’s senior football team, Harambee Stars, will play two international friendly matches in Antalya, Turkey, during this month’s FIFA window.
The fixtures have been adjusted, with the Benni McCarthy team now set to face Equatorial Guinea and Senegal, replacing the initially planned matches against Madagascar and Comoros.

Kenya will open their friendly campaign against Equatorial Guinea on Friday, November 14, 2025, starting at 6:00 pm at the Emir Complex, before taking on Senegal on Tuesday, November 18, at 6:00 pm at the Mardan Stadium.
Squad changes
The team is set to report for local camp on Sunday, November 9, 2025, and will jet out on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
The friendly matches will provide the Stars with a vital opportunity to test their strength against high-ranking opponents, fine-tune tactical approaches and build cohesion ahead of upcoming competitive engagements.
After successfully hosting the 2024 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN 2024), alongside Uganda and Tanzania, Kenya will again host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations alongside her two neighbours; hence, the need to build a strong team that will be able to compete effectively with the continent’s big boys on home soil.
