The team is expected to return home on Sunday, September 24, 2023, ahead of the second leg match on September 26, 2023.
Coach Odemba recognizes the significance of securing away goals and has affirmed her intention to prioritize goal-scoring over a defensive approach.
“Our primary objective in Cameroon is to take a proactive stance, with a focus on goal-scoring rather than adopting a defensive strategy,” she revealed
Odemba also expressed confidence in the team’s progress, noting that they are eagerly awaiting the arrival of international players such as Mwanahalima Dogo, Jentrix Shikangwa, Esse Akida, and others.
These seasoned players are expected to bring their wealth of experience to the squad and help instill confidence in the new call-ups.
