Gor’s star Ochieng is back after injury, impresses in friendly

Multiple Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League champions Gor Mahia can look forward to the resumption of action with a sense of optimism following the return of utility defender Geoffrey Ochieng’ from an injury

. Ochieng’ is a happy man after shaking off a career-threatening injury that had locked him out of action since September last year.

The former Western Stima player was in K’ogalo’s roster on Sunday during the friendly match against Sofapaka at Utalii grounds, which ended 1-1, and is yearning at being fielded by the league giants when the league resumes after an 11-day break  “I’m happy to have recovered and to me, nothing will be as good as helping the team to a respectable finish in the top-tier league,’’ Ochieng’ said.
