Gor Mahia vs Bidco United: Preview, team news and probable starting XI

Although they are unbeaten, Gor Mahia are second on the table with 15 points, just one point below Posta Rangers. On the other hand, United are seventh and collected a point in their last match against Murang’a Seal.

K’Ogalo have never lost to United in the six games they have ever met in the top flight. The reigning Premier League champions will hope to keep the unbeaten record going, given that they are not only chasing three points but a win that will help them go ahead of Posta Rangers.
Meanwhile, Gor Mahia are looking sharp in every department; Kevin Omondi has kept three clean sheets and has only conceded four in the previous games, and upfront, Omala is in good form.
Omala tops the scorers’ chart with seven goals and is favourite to score when they meet United at Kasarani. Overall, Gor Mahia have scored 11 goals, and United’s defence – which has conceded five – needs to be very solid to keep the opponents at bay.
Gor Mahia are also buoyed by their 1-0 victory over Tusker in the last game, although the win was contested in several quarters as some felt Omala scored the only goal of the match from an offside position.

Goalkeeper Gad Mathews is soon expected to return to action for Gor Mahia after being sidelined by an injury. The same applies to John Macharia and Patrick Kaddu.
The trio’s return will be good news for head coach Johnathan McKinstry, who will now have more options going forward.
However, McKinstry could start Joshua Onyango in central defence for Emery Bayisenge, who was withdrawn during the match against the Brewers.
