Gor Mahia, Tusker FKF Premier League duel venue changed
By Joel Sang, October 20, 2023The Football Kenya Federation Premier League match between Tusker and Gor Mahia has been moved to Moi International Sports Complex, Kasarani.
Initially, the game, which will be broadcast live, had been scheduled to be played at Nyayo Stadium on Sunday, October 22, 2023, but it has now been shifted, although the kickoff time has remained the same.
According to Tusker, Nyayo Stadium will not be available for the match, and with that, Kasarani was picked as the alternative venue for the highly anticipated match.
This is a crucial match for both sides, as Gor Mahia will be looking to win and close in on Posta Rangers. The Mailmen have had a meteoric start to the season as they remain unbeaten after 8 games.
They have 16 points, while Gor Mahia have 12. Tusker are eighth after six games, and a win will be a crucial result for the former Premier League matches.

A win will also serve to ease pressure on head coach Robert Matano, who has been at times criticised for the poor start to the season.
On Saturday, Sofapaka will face Police FC at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, while Talanta and Rangers clash at Ruaraka Stadium as the league ushers in week seven actions.
KCB and Ulinzi Stars will clash at Kasarani in the other game on Saturday.
AFC Leopards in Mombasa
Meanwhile, AFC Leopards will face Bandari at Mbaraki Stadium on Sunday. Ingwe are now under a new coach since Tom Juma was sacked and Tomas Trucha was appointed.
Juma left the club in the relegation zone, and Trucha’s main goal is to help the struggling giant climb the ladder.
After recently facing the wrath of the FKF disciplinary committee for fan trouble at their home game against KCB, Muhoroni Youth will play Kariobangi Sharks on Sunday.
Murang’a Seal, who have impressed so far in their debut season, will battle with Bidco United, while Shabana will host Nairobi City Stars.
Nzoia Sugar will be at home to play Kakamega Homeboyz.
