Championship receives Sh16m sponsorship from Safaricom

Leading telco Safaricom have announced Sh16 million sponsorship for the 2022 edition of the Magical Kenya Open, which teed off yesterday at Muthaiga Golf Club and is expected to end on Sunday.

The sponsorship will cater for communication and technology support for the event organisers including a state-ofthe-art media centre, a Junior Golf Clinic and media publicity support.

“We are thrilled to be supporting this unique event, which marks the first time the European Tour has been hosted at Muthaiga Golf Club.
